Baby Book Review

Have you read this book yet? Because I have. About five times yesterday. And the day before, and the day before...

One little girl around this house cannot get enough of Old Macdonald.

We hid it before bedtime book reading last night. Does that make us horrible parents?

The other day I caught her reading it to her babies. Everyone should be exposed to the joy of those singing farm animals, right?

Flashback Friday: That Time I Got Married

The hubby and I married young. Really young. We couldn't legally imbibe in our champagne toast. We had to prove we were married in order to take our honeymoon cruise without guardians. Maybe a generation ago it wouldn't be so strange, but in today's times- we were young.

But we just couldn't wait.
Seven years later, we aren't as young. But I'd like to think we still can't wait to spend our lives together.

Live is an adventure. And that adventure is more fun with your best friend.

**And yes, that is a horse-drawn carriage we're walking towards. Because that's how I roll.

Stickers

Amelia has discovered the joy of stickers.
Nobody should be left out, right?
Don't worry Katie. She didn't forget about you.

Wordless Wednesday

Clothes preferences have kicked in. (I know, Mom...not my daughter, right?)

She wants to wear her Minnie Mouse pajamas all.the.time.

The other day she took matters into her own hands.

My Baby

This week my baby turned to me while she was crouched down and said "poopy." We're the proud owners of a new Elmo potty seat, thankyouverymuch.

And my baby surprised me by helping me count to ten from the backseat of the car. This is now my new favorite trick.
And my baby said a ton of words I didn't know she knew when playing a flashcard app.

When did my baby get so big? Wasn't this just yesterday?

Eating My Own Words

I say what pops in my head. Which means I have a gift for putting my foot in my mouth. Which means I might do things I said I'd never do.

Like when I said it was weird to serve a meal to your kid in a muffin tin. Well...

A few weeks ago Mia and I had a movie picnic one evening when the hubby was occupied. Turns out that it is a pretty easy meal to make and clean up. It probably won't be a regular thing, but it was fun.
Also, I'm pretty sure I once said I'd never be a stay-at-home-mama who blogs about all the little things in her life.

Oops.
