The Post Where I Inadvertently Brag on My Child

I try to do one "activity" everyday with Amelia. Sometimes it is just the two of us. Sometimes we invite friends. Yesterday we had a playdate with Amelia's friend from Mother's Day Out last year.

(It seems weird to call it "last year" when it just ended last month...but since it's summer now...)

Her friend, G, and his mama came over to our house for some toy sharing and pool wading. It was our first time to have playtime with them outside of school. We'll be sure to do something with them again soon though. Because G's mama is the master of flattery. And what mama doesn't want to hear that their kid is awesome.

Playing with the toy kitchen: What a smart idea to have this in the kitchen. We need one!

Playing with the ABC magnets: Is she singing along with the ABC song? How amazing!

Playing in her tent: She said "Minnie Mouse." Adorable!

Eating lunch: She eats so well! She said please! She eats fruits and veggies!

Playing outside: She's eating chalk!

Alright so she's still a toddler.

I hope I remembered to compliment her cutie-pie just as much.
